The Ghana- India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT in partnership with GES, HACSA, Dream Oval and Soronko Academy will be launching its 2018 Girls Can Code Project.

The project will be launched tomorrow January , 17 2018 at 9am prompt.

It will be launched by the First Lady of Ghana, Mrs. Rebecca Akuffo-Addo at the Auditorium of the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre, located at Accra.

The project is geared towards empowering girls and women through ICT.

The project aims at providing educational materials and training to inspire creative technical thinking.

Currently, Ghana seems to be prioritizing training and the equipping of women and children in technology .

Recently, Women In Tech was also in bed with the Ministry of Communication to help equip children and women at underprivileged societies.

This initiative is to boost their ICT skills to help women partake in the digital explosion happening globally.
