Disruption in network services of MTN has caused many subscribers to air their woes and grievances on social media.

MTN Ghana has apologized for the service shortcomings being experienced in its network.

The recent development is as a result of multiple cuts to fiber optic cable the in five sites over the country.

“MTN Ghana wishes to apologize for the network challenges being experienced by a cross section of subscribers across the country ” the network provider said in a brief statement.

According to MTN, “the disruption in service is as a result of multiple fiber cuts in 5 locations on two separate routes including our additional protection on two other third party fiber.”

“Our engineers are working hard to repair the cuts. Subscribes will be notified as soon as it is resolved. MTN sincerely apologizes once again for the inconvenience”.
