The programme is an initiative of the Springboard Road Show Foundation, with support from MTN Ghana. 

MTN Ghana has embarked on an initiative to build the capacity of the youth through its motivational and personal development programme dubbed: ‘Springboard 2018 Road Show.

This initiative it says will empower the youth of Ghana.not only in technology but also mentorship, business strategies and others in order to help them fit into the global market.

The programme is an initiative of the Springboard Road Show Foundation, with support from MTN Ghana.

General Manager for MTN Mobile Financial Services, Mr. Eli Hini, during the ‘Springboard 2018 Road Show’ in Accra, said their main motive as the leading Telecommunications Giant in the country is to empower Ghanaians especially the youth to embrace technology in order not to be left out in the job market.

According to him there is a need to leverage on technology to help boost productivity since technology has come to stay.

Mr. Eli Hini, however challenged the youth to embrace technology and also make use of it judiciously since there are numerous golden opportunities the tech industry has to offer.

This year’s, Springboard 2018 Road Show which was themed: “Leveraging Strategy and Technology” took place at National Theatre in Accra, with over 1, 500 youth present.

The Reverend Albert Ocran, Executive Director of Springboard Road Show Foundation, also said this year’s event was meant to empower people to leverage on technology for improved productivity.

He said technology had become the driving force for economies, hence the need to empower citizens technologically to achieve maximum results.
