MTN Video Plus is one of telecom giant (MTN’s) entertainment app where users can register and download hilarious and interesting videos using their data enable handsets and devices.

The application contains comedy, Video on demand (VOD) and Free to air (FTA) live channels.

It always extends different categories aiming to create a better digital live for smartphone users.

The move which also forms part of Huawei Technologies quest to help build a video ecosystem in Ghana aims to harmonize all video producers and distributors unto one platform, to serve the final consumer with quality entertaining videos.

The platform offers data consumers the opportunity to consume two (2) unique video contents this includes:

Video on Demand (VOD)
The VOD services currently provides content around Comedy, Movies, Music, Education, Technology and Lifestyle.

Live TV services
The Live TV currently offers live content from GhOne TV, TV3, Zoe TV, ZTV and Royal TV.

According to MTN, some content on the platform are free and require only an active internet connection.

However, other contents are premium and require subscription to unlock.

The premium subscriptions are in 3 tiers;
Daily subscription of 90Ghp valid for 24hours, a 3 day subscription for 2Ghc
and a weekly subscription for 4.5GHc.

Subscriptions can be done via the app or via USSD/SMS code 5033.

For daily subscription, users send D1 to 5033 via SMS or by dialing *5033*1#.

For the 3 day service, users send D3 to 5033 via SMS or by dial *5033*2#.

For the weekly service, users send D7 to 5033 via SMS or by dial *5033*3# as well.

The service which currently runs on the MTN Video+ app is available on Google Play store, Apple Store and the MTN Appstore.

It allows users can share the videos on their social media platforms whiles giving them the chance to send their feedback after using it.

It is available to MTN subscribers only.
