Korean electronics company Samsung released a new device sporting their first attempt at a triple rear camera setup.

The phone; Samsung Galaxy A7, is one of the company’s mid-range devices and it having the three camera setup comes as a huge surprise.

This is because currently only high-end flagship devices are seen with the triple camera setup and even in that regard there aren’t so many of them.

Also this feature was rumored to be available on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 thus we may assume that it is a test run to see the efficacy of said setup and also its consumer acceptance before going all out and releasing it on the Galaxy S10.

The Galaxy A7 comes with an 8 megapixel 120-degree option (rumored to be called ultra-wide angle), a 25-megapixel regular lens and a 5-megapixel depth lens that will focus on aiding in depth of field adjustment as well as bokeh adjustments.

For front facing camera, the device has a 24-megapixel camera with an adjustable LED flash.

When it comes to the physical features, well as usual Samsung has slapped on their Super AMOLED display; 6-inch.

The device also comes with a side fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos sound system and is preloaded with Samsung Pay, Samsung Health and Samsung’s virtual AI Assistant; Bixby.

The A7 is set to be released later this year in four colors; black, blue, pink and gold. Price however has not been disclosed as of now.
