(Accra, Ghana March 20, 2019) – Leading Tech advocate and news portal, Tech Voice Africa (techvoicefrica.com) is all set to host another edition of its monthly live Facebook sessions dubbed Tech Voice Africa Dialogue (TVA Dialogue), on Thursday, March 29, 2019 at 1500HRS GMT. (03:00pm).

This month’s event, will discuss the topic; A Look at Cybersecurity in Ghana, with cybersecurity analyst Archzilon Eshun-Davies, CEO of Tactical Intelligence Security and Gervin Appiah, a Cybersecurity Specialist as guests for the event.

The event which will be live streamed on the Tech Voice Africa Facebook page from 3pm will be hosted from the premises of Impact Hub Accra.

The TVA Dialogue seeks to engage tech enthusiasts and the general public through an interactive discourse. The general public would have the opportunity to join the conversation by using #TVADialogue on Twitter and Facebook as well as by following the social media pages of Tech Voice Africa.

Focus of the Discussion
The Head of Operations at Tech Voice Africa (techvoiceafrica.com), who will also be hosting the TVA Dialogue, Ms. Ida Padikuor Na-Tei said,” This month’s edition promises to be more engaging, educative and inspiring as the dialogue will look at some key issues in cybersecurity, hacking, as well as how one makes a career in cyber-security”.

She indicated that “Serious damage has been caused by security breaches and as such it is essential for startups, organizations and countries to relook cyber-security in its entirety and strategize accordingly.”

“Just as security breaches are becoming more of a problem to organizations, it is crucial to train enough people, especially the youth to help secure our systems; that is the agenda we seek to set during the March edition of #TVADialogue as an organization which aims at giving technology a voice in Africa.” Ms. Na-Tei added. 

She also hinted the organization’s resolve to engage policy makers and authorities in these dialogues to move beyond the narrative to enforce implementation.

“It is our ultimate goal not to only talk or hold discussions but to see these discussions translate into actionable initiatives to significantly impact the development of Science, Technology and Innovation in Ghana and Africa as a whole”, she said.

She advised the general public and players in Ghana’s Tech, Entrepreneurial and Startup ecosystems to follow #TVADialogue for up to the minute update on the discourse.
