Government of Ghana in a bid to boost trade and investment has announced that Visa fee for entering Ghana from the United Kingdom has been reduced.

The initiative which will be replicated worldwide is also aimed at boosting tourism, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, announced this at Ghana’s 62nd Independence anniversary celebration in London.

According to her, the agreement would improve trade and investment relations between Ghana and UK as it prepares the grounds for improved relations.

She indicated that since independence, Ghana has recorded some remarkable progress despite some constraints it faced.

And as such was pleased about gains made in the trade and investment sector.
